WAMX continue to take the sport to a new and exciting level in Western Australian motocross with the announcement that WAMX State Championship at Round 6, will hold the PerthMX WA 2 Stroke Cup Championship event.
Braaap! Do you remember that sound? Do you love the sweet smell of premix racing fuel? Well its back and on Sunday September 15th WAMX will be hosting the stand alone round of the 2 Stroke Championship at AJS Park Wanneroo.
The 2 Stroke Cup will be held as part of the massive grand finale at Round 6 of the 2013 Championship at AJS.
A resurgence of the two banger at race tracks all around the state, plus the MX Nationals hosting the popular Two Stroke Cup marks the return of a bygone era: the Two-Stroke Cup.
A huge rider entry list is expected, which will see the event bring back the popular 2 stroke machines, and continue to see the current line up of WAMX riders contest this exciting event.
Jeff Howell from PerthMX is delighted to announce the sponsorship. “WAMX in Western Australia, know how to put together the complete package with running the State Championships alongside the WA Clubs. On behalf of us at PerthMX we are happy to continue to work alongside WAMX and put something back to the sport here in the state, which is what the sponsorship is all about. We hope that the event will be successful and look forward to the smell of two stroke in the air at AJS”.
