Round 2 of The Make Smoking History State Junior Motocross Championship Series was hosted by WAJMCC (Chidlow) on the Sunday 13th of September, with many eager to head full throttle out on the track. Some clear skies blessed riders with a podium finish, while others battled it out with mates, and some were even racing for the first time. A good day it was for racing and many thanks to those who pulled it off an awesome day. Check out the results below:

50cc Auto

A roaring start for the little young guns in the 50cc Auto class. Over twenty excited riders lined up at the starting gates ready for racing. Ollie Birkitt led the way with Jai Errey in second and Mason Cleary in third. Noah Thomas managed to push hard and grab seventh place over Taj Giltrap in the first moto while Evan Foley fell behind John Fitzgerald. The second race of the day had Ollie take first position again however this time Jayce Stocker placed second with Charlie Butler in third position. The last moto for this class had an extra lap completed by some riders with Ollie taking the lead, Charlie in second and Jai in third.

65cc 7-U10 Years

The Husqvarna 65cc 7-U10 Years Class was on fire at the start of the day. There were plenty of riders out on the track trying their hardest and giving it their best. The first moto had Nate Tomerini lead the way with Deegan Fort in second and Ollie Birkitt coming in third for his other class. Only a few seconds separated first position from second and it was spectacular. The second moto had Deegan in front with Nate in second followed by Ollie in third, with Xander Conduit managing to grab fourth position over Zacchary Roger and Jai Errey. The final race of the day for this class had Deegan in first, Nate in second and Ollie in third. With only a few seconds to spare Sol Pellicano came in ninth position over Reilly Anderson and Chase Brock.

65cc 10-U12 Years

The older of the Husqvarna 65cc Class were full throttle ahead for their races. The first moto had Sonny Pellicano lead the way in first position followed closely by Connor Wiese and Ryley Fiford. Reece Beenham managed fifth over Eddie Fay who came in sixth for the first race. The second race saw Sonny keep his first position again with Connor in second and Ryley maintaining third while Luca Novello, Reece and Eddie had a battle of their own for fourth, fifth and sixth. The last moto saw everyone keep their respected positions with not much change throughout the racing.

85cc/150cc 9-U12 Years

A familiar track for some riders in the KTM 85cc/150cc 9-U12 Years Class with many having WAJMCC as their home club, but that didn’t stop some outsiders from leading the way in the championship series. Seth Shackleton held onto first position in the first race with Sonny in another one of his classes hot on his end in second with Deegan Fort in third position. The second race saw Seth in first again with Sonny in second and Connor Wiese in third over Deegan in fourth. Ricky Skalecki managed to take fifth position over Devin Buckley who came sixth. The last race for this class Saw Seth, Sony and Deegan in first, second and third with Connor in fourth, Chantz Napier in fifth and Devin Buckley in sixth.

85cc/150cc 12-U16 Years

The older of the KTM 85cc/150cc 12-U16 Years Class had both new and familiar riders on the starting grid and they were all eager and ready to go. Patrick Butler led the way in first position followed closely by Charlie Bartlett in second and Riley Moes in third. The second race had a little bit of change with Patrick in first again with Charlie Weightman in second this time and Ethan Rowland in third. Towards the end of the second moto Wade Keneally managed to come twelfth over Zane Garraway who just finished behind in thirteenth position. The last race of the KTM class had Patrick keep his first-place position all throughout with Charlie Weightman in second and Ethan Rowland in third.

Girls 7-U12 Years

The Cully’s Girls 7-U12 Years had less riders for this round but that didn’t stop them from having some fun out on the dirt track. Out racing was Darcey Forrest, Addison Orr, Zala Hayward and Lilly Hunt. All tried their best and put on some great racing. The first race had Darcey out in front with Addison in second, Lilly in third and Zala in fourth. The second race for this class saw Addison push through this time taking first place position over Darcey who got second with Zala in third and Lilly in fourth. The last race of the day had Darcey reclaim first position with Zala grabbing second, Addison in third and Lilly in fourth.

Girls 12-U16 Years

The older of the Cully’s Girls Class had a brilliant day of racing with many of the riders being friends and having fun competing against each other. The first race saw Jaylee Rimbas in first followed by Phoebe Bronwin in second, Summer Mills in third, Olivia Webster in fourth, Jordan Thomas in fifth, Laura Featherstone-Dawes in sixth and Lara O’Leary in seventh position. The second race had Jaylee keep her fist-place position while Summer pushed herself into second with Olivia in third. The last race of the day for this class had rider Jaylee in first place again with Phoebe in second, Summer in third, Olivia in fourth, Laura in fifth Lara in sixth and Jordan in seventh.

ATV 60-90cc/ 85cc-125cc 9-U13 Years

The Brutum Logistics ATV 60-90cc/ 85cc-125cc 9-U13 Years Class had a good day of racing with few riders. Jack Lobb led the way in the first moto with Harlee Young in second, Cooper Harcourt in third, Sari Lough in fourth Cody Langridge in fifth, while Riona Schmid unfortunately left the race. The second moto this the smaller quad class had Jack keep his first position with Cooper in second and Harlee in third. There weren’t any changes in position for this race with many riders keeping it calm and easy on the day. The last moto saw Jack in first with Cooper in second and Harlee following in third again with this time Sari in fourth and Cody in fifth and Riona managing sixth position.

ATV 200cc/250cc 13-U16 Years

The older Brutum Logistics quad class had few riders as well but that didn’t stop the racing from being spectacular. Deegan Lough led the way in the first moto with Nichole McDonnell hot on his end. Keenan Murphy followed suit in third position with Amira Schmid in fourth and Bailey Langridge in fifth. The second race saw everyone keep their respected positions with no changes to see in the race. The last moto for this class on the day had only four riders this time with Deegan in first, Keenan in second, Nichole in third and Bailey in fourth.

100cc-125cc 13-U16 Years

The EXP Resources 100cc-125cc 13-U16 Years Class had over fifteen riders lined up, ready to race at the starting grid. Kayden Minear kept up a good pace in the first moto, taking first-place position, with Brock Flynn in second and Jake Turner in third. Isaac Atkins managed fourth while Tat Paganini grabbed fifth. The second race had riders completing five laps with Brock taking first position this time over Kayden who followed in second and Jake coming in third. The last moto of the day had riders doing four laps this time with Brock finishing in first, Kayden in second and Jake in third.

128cc-150cc/250cc 13-U16 Years

The Bottom Sinkers 128cc-150cc/250cc 13-U16 Years Class had some good racing on the day with many riders being happy to be back out on the dirt track. A small class of racing with some riders dual classing. Kayden Minear managed first place over Brock Flynn who grabbed second over Jake Turner in third. Haiden Hills got fourth over Mason Payne in fifth with Warren Garrat in sixth and Blake Medling in seventh. The second race had Kayden keep his respected first with Jake swapping third from second this time around, while Brock took third. The last race of the day for this class had Kayden lead the way in first with Brock taking second and Jake in third.
